Scotch Trooper dedication - Our first ever special edition glass.

Where do we even start here. It’s coming to 1 year ago (February 11, 2021) when we lost a pillar of the whisky family. Brett Ferencz @Scotch_Trooper. From the very beginning of both our whisky journeys, we naturally found common ground from two different sides of this Endor like planet.

From his first nervous yet fun whisky tasting in his hometown of Atlanta with Balvenie whisky to (what felt like) visiting nearly every distillery in Tennessee and Kentucky and then doing the funniest/longest interview in whiskey podcast history with @dadsdrinkingbourbon and then on to the last couple of years, many shenanigans online. I miss the banter. I miss the adventures. I miss the light and I miss the man.

We had to mark the year anniversary somehow and this, our first ever special edition glass, seemed like the right way. It was whisky and the glass that brought us together and together we’ll remain. Face artwork was crafted by @wsky.n.jojo.

We’re releasing this early so that the people that buy the glass can drink from it on the 1st anniversary next year and in light of the current state of worldwide logistics. There will be 42 glasses available to mark the age of his passing with all profits going to the children’s cancer ward @rchmelbourne.

So how do you get one? Well, you've noticed it doesn't appear in the store. Intentional. These glasses are special and our engraver mentioned he would never do such an intense job ever again. There has already been a bit of talk of these going onto secondary and that would an absolute nightmare for us to see the people he knew and others that are interested missing out on buying the glasses for them to love and use rather than being sold for profit. Brett would not have wanted that. Instead we're going to have you write in with the subject: "Trooper Glass" requesting a glass along with why you want the glass plus your delivery address, phone number, email and from here we'll send you a PayPal invoice. 

We well aware this will slow down the sales of these glasses but this is not a money making exercise. This is dedication to our friend and I'm sure he would want this not done fast but done right.
